We call this experience SPARC EXTREME! Leaving Tyler on Sunday afternoon, March 9th, we will spend Monday at the World Famous White Sands National Park. Like no other place on earth, the park is “one of the world’s great natural wonders,” engulfing 275 square miles of glistening white sand dunes.

Monday night we will be at Bonita Park in Ruidoso New Mexico. Bonita Park is a “Pine Cove-like” Christian camp in the beautiful Sierra Blanca mountain range. We will ski or snowboard two days at Ski Apache resort on Sierra Blanca peak. In the evenings, Bonita Park offers a first-class gymnasium with intense rock-climbing walls, basketball courts, nine-square, ping-pong and other activities. They also have a heated indoor pool and a zipline.

On Thursday we will go over 1000 feet below ground and tour the incredible Carlsbad Caverns. Then to Fort Davis Texas and the amazing McDonald Observatory, operated by the University of Texas. At McDonald we will have a private tour of the main telescopes and an evening Star-gazing party with a professional astronomer.

On Saturday we will drive home. We will enjoy great food along the way and test the limits of our personal endurance as we visit the extremes of the desert, the snow-capped mountain tops, the depths of the earth at Carlsbad and then explore the farthest reaches of the galaxy. It will be EXTREME!!!
